Frequently asked questions
Answers to common questions about the actual product: drafting, multi-floor work, 3D review, public sharing, exports, AI, and credits.
Is ZerothFloor a browser-based floor plan tool?
Yes. The core product is a web-based floor plan workspace with 2D drafting, live 3D review, sharing, and export workflows.
Does ZerothFloor support multi-floor projects?
Yes. Projects can include multiple floors with floor duplication, ghost-floor overlays, per-floor settings, and multi-floor export paths.
Can I review a plan in 3D?
Yes. The editor includes live 3D review modes such as orbit, first-person, top-down, and section-cut views, along with 3D export options.
Can I share plans without allowing edits?
Yes. Public plan pages are view-only and support async comments, link sharing, browsing in the public directory, and clone-to-workspace workflows.
Which export formats are supported?
ZerothFloor supports PNG, SVG, PDF, DXF, JSON, IFC, room schedule CSV, and 3D exports such as GLB, OBJ/MTL, STL, and PNG screenshots from the 3D view.
How does AI fit into the workflow?
AI generation is designed as a starting-point workflow. You can generate a plan from a prompt, insert it into the active floor, and then refine it with the regular editor before sharing or exporting.
How do credits work?
Credits are used for specific creation and reuse actions such as new plans, public-plan cloning, AI generation, and some public DXF downloads. The pricing and credits pages explain the current rules in detail.
