Help topic

Editor basics

The editor is the center of the product. Knowing how to navigate, select, undo, and save makes every other workflow smoother.

Move around the plan

Use the canvas tools without losing your place.

  1. Scroll to zoom in and out.
  2. Hold Space or use the Pan tool when you need to move across the canvas quickly.
  3. Use the canvas-size control to understand the export boundary you are drafting inside.

Work with snapping

Keep geometry cleaner by turning the right snap aids on or off.

  • Grid snap helps with steady plan layout.
  • Vertex snap helps when walls and dimensions should meet existing geometry exactly.
  • Wall snap keeps opening placement and other interactions aligned to plan structure.

Selection and history

Use selection, duplication, and history to keep editing efficient.

  • Select elements before editing them in the properties panel.
  • Duplicate supported items when repeated layouts are faster than redrawing.
  • Use Save version before major changes if you want a recoverable checkpoint.

At a glance

Key points for this workflow.

Scroll to zoom and use Space or middle mouse to pan.
Selection works in Select and Text modes, not every tool mode.
Undo, redo, autosave, and manual save all work together in the same session.
