Trace an as-built or sketch

Trace workflows help teams turn rough or external source material into structured plan geometry faster.

Step-by-step workflow

1Upload a trace image from the sidebar on the floor you want to redraw.

2Adjust opacity and position, then lock the image when it is aligned well enough to work from.

3Switch back to the Wall or Select tools and draft clean geometry over the reference.

4Remove the image if needed before final cleanup, knowing normal exports exclude it by default.
